Read the full interview here on Buzzfeed. It’s an amazing read. It makes you realize that this game will have the more incredible replay value than any other video game in history.

Awesome 3D video flythough of the Los Santos map

Here is a nice piece of work. It’s a video which is like a flythrough/walkthrough of the entire GTA 5 map. They’ve put the screenshot location photos and then show the view from the 3D model perspective. This gives you a great idea of what the map will be like. I think it’s safe to say it’s accurate based on the details throughout the internet so far. Watch!

Massive GTA V mural being painted on side of Figueroa Hotel

Things are really starting to heat up in regards to the Grand Theft Auto marketing. Want to see a big big big advertisement? A mural is being painted on the site of the Figueroa Hotel in Los Angeles. It should be a shock if you realize that the same hotel was used for other big ads including Rockstar games like GTA 4 and Max Payne 3. Is this going to be the biggest video game in history? I’m really starting to think so. We just need the PC and Xbox One/PS4 announcements and then you can say it’s the biggest video game ever. If all consoles, including mobile devices, get a version, it will be the most widely played game in history. How could you dispute that? Then again, those other versions are just speculation at this point.

How do old people react to GTA V? Watch this video for a laugh!

This is quite a hilarious video. I wasn’t sure what to think, but it’s very well done and it’s a “must see” as we seek new details or videos. This is a pretty interesting “take” from older folks who aren’t exactly the target market for the Grand Theft Auto series. An understatement? Yep, big time. There are some real great nuggests in there. Hope you enjoy it!

Australian version of GTA 5 will be the unedited original game

There is some speculation about the Australian version of Grand Theft Auto 5 and whether it will be released in its original form. This is because Australia has a strict policy regarding video game violence and some games have been required to remove certain content. That said, official word comes from Rockstar via their Twitter feed that the game will be rated R18+ in Australia and it will be “in its complete, original form in Australia”. Great news for GTA fans because a masterpiece like this deserves to be in its purist and raw form.

Billboard ad for GTA V in NYC void of Xbox 360 mention

Check this out! A big ad like this in New York and they only list the Playstation 3 version and nothing about the Xbox 360 version. Ooops! I’m sure most fans will know it’s available for both consoles but it’s still a bit comical! Rumors are out there that Sony and Rockstar have a publicity deal. That means most ads and marketing will focus on the PS3 and not the Xbox 360. It seems likely because think about the PS3 and GTA V bundles and the exclusive branded Grand Theft Auto 5 headset. That wasn’t available for the Xbox 360.

Take-Two going after websites

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. has files some WIPO complaints against a number of GTA V related websites lately. The most recent site being target by take-two is GTAV.com. Previously they have gone after and shut down the following sites: gta5betacode.com, getgtavbeta.com, betagtav.com and grandtheftauto5beta.com. It’s understandable that the fake beta sites could be shut down, but I’m interested in the GTAV.com legal battle. See the case details here. Let’s hope that they don’t open hunting season on fan sites!

Evidence suggests GTA V will run at 720p and not 1080p

This is by no means an official statement, but it’s just an educated guess. The guys at gadgetmill.co.uk have made a case to suggest that the next GTA game will run at 720p and not 1080p. Is this a big deal? I would say no considering the age of the PS3 and Xbox 360. If this is the case, then certainly having the Xbox One and PS4 versions that are capable of 1080p would be quite the selling point!
