We told you the hype would start and would proceed like a freight train! How about this nugget from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. Here is what he says:
“I think you can safely assume that Rockstar, as the label that led the charge in downloadable content with Grand Theft Auto 4, I think you’d have every reason to believe, purely because of the ground-breaking nature of the title itself and the multiplayer in the title, that there’s going to be a lot of interesting stuff. But I’ll leave that to Rockstar to announce.”
So there is going to be multiplayer in GTA V. No big surprise there I suppose, but big things could come of that. Aren’t we all a bit tired of the FPS online games? Wouldn’t a GTA style multiplayer game be a nice change? I say yes! Both Xbox Live and the Playstation Network are fantastic platforms for online multiplayer. What would be even better? How about mobile versions of GTA V with online multiplayer? That would be amazing!
